After the wild success of the Grammy winning Rumours work began to make an album that would be as popular as its predecessor. The album is known for its experimentive sound due to the influence of Lindsey Buckingham who did not want to make a Rumours II. The origin of the song is debated however Stevie has stated the song is about her friend Sara who went on to marry Mick Fleetwood.
