Released on May 23, 1997 The Dance was the 2nd live album released by the band (recorded in one night) and the final one to feature Christine McVie who left the band for 16 years. This album also marked the return of the Rumours lineup after the departure of Stevie & Lindsey, they would embark on tour to promote the album. The tour would be recorded on DVD for an MTV Special during the May 29 show Burbank, CA the concert would feature the USC Marching Band who were included on Tusk and Don’t Stop. The album featured a few new songs with one being the song Sweet Girl which was written and performed by Stevie.
